Small dents without paint damage such as those caused by another car’s door being opened onto your car’s can usually be removed by stretching the metal back into position using special tools. This method is called P.D.R which stands for Paintless Dent Removal – the removal of dents without needing to spray the panel. It is a real skill that has the advantages of being quicker and cheaper than other methods of dent removal (for larger dents or those with paint damage requiring painting, please see “Small Accident Damage”).
